Co-Mission is a project created out of a need to be helpful during hard times. Artists and musicians are the reason that Folkadelphia exists, so it follows we would try to help and support those in need. Co-Mission will use Folkadelphia funds to commission and non-exclusively license home recordings from artists, in turn creating donation-based compilations, where any and all proceeds will be used for more commissions and more compilations. Folkadelphia is a Philadelphia and DC-based folk music-adjacent organization. We host a regular weekly radio program on Philadelphia’s WXPN each Wednesday from 10-11 PM ET. The Folkadelphia Sessions archive featuring mainly in-studio recordings can be found here.
